Diagnostic and therapeutic applications of chemically modified nucleic acids (oligonucleotides).

What are you working on right now?:

The development of rapid assays for COVID-19 that can be used in high-throughput labs or at point-of-care. We are also working on modified oligonucleotides for therapeutic intervention in COVID-19.

Why is Oxford a good place to work in this field of research?
Nowhere in the world is there a greater concentration of expertise across all relevant disciplines coupled with a great infrastructure.
