Oxford has an amazing breadth and depth of expertise and - despite being busy - nearly everyone is willing to help.

What is the biggest environmental challenge facing the planet right now?

That's a tough one - there are so many - but if we don't get on top of emissions, the planet will change beyond recognition.

Despite the challenges, are you optimistic about our future?  

Yes, because I have the great privilege to work with lots of young people, and I think they are smart enough and motivated enough to take action
